The Future Science Prize was established in 2016 by the Hong Kong Future Science Prize Foundation. It is a scientific award co-initiated by a community of scientists and entrepreneurs, aiming to recognize scientists who have achieved outstanding scientific accomplishments in Mainland China, Hong Kong, Macau, and Taiwan, and to inspire the public in China, the world, and the next generation with the spirit of science.

The Future Science Prize comprises three major awards: the Life Science Prize, the Physical Science Prize, and the Mathematics and Computer Science Prize.

This exhibition introduces the past Hong Kong laureates of the Future Science Prize, this year's laureates, as well as past award-winning topics. The exhibition elaborates on the scientific research achievements and contributions of the Hong Kong laureates, along with related scientific knowledge. It also features exhibits connected to their research, allowing visitors to gain insight into their research journeys and accomplishments while learning about the underlying scientific concepts.
